The Russian court is the nickname of a 70 acres compound located in downtown Jerusalem and includes a number of public building. It was built and funded by the initiative of the Tsar Alexander II in 1860, the period in which there was an improvement in relations to the Ottoman Jews and Christians, and Christian pilgrims began arriving en masse to Jerusalem. The purpose of the place was to provide religious services for Russian pilgrims, catering, accommodation and protection.

In the site: a variety of structures, new and original, each with a special story, children Underground Prisoners Museum, Cathedral, and more.
